Yes. DeanDesk Marketplace is free to start. Open a school with an email address and a Stripe account, list open-enrollment courses, publish registration forms or sell event tickets, and make your first dollar on DeanDesk. Marketplace pricing is published on DeanDesk Marketplace. When you want your own site, admissions, families or memberships, move up to a plan; your courses, students and payments come with you.

The Marketplace is one school offering open-enrollment courses, public registration forms and events to people who find you there. A plan is your own DeanDesk site with everything: your domain, admissions and forms, families and children, memberships, donations, events, staff roles and the mobile app, for a flat monthly price. Schools on a plan can also list their open-enrollment courses, public registration forms and events on the Marketplace.

Yes. Every plan starts with a 30-day free trial. Your card is charged only when the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime before then.

Every plan includes the full platform: admissions, tuition billing, learning management, gradebook, communications, community, and your school's website and mobile app. Plans differ only in what's included — how many platforms you can create, active students, cloud storage, video and recording hours, monthly DeanDesk service hours, and the platform transaction fee. You can upgrade anytime as your school grows.

Your uploads and calls keep working. Storage and video are soft allowances: usage beyond what's included is billed as a small overage on your next invoice, for example $0.50 per additional GB of storage on the Starter plan. Overage rates are shown in the plan table above.

Setup is free and plans are billed month to month. You can cancel anytime.

Payments run on Stripe. Tuition, application fees, and donations are deposited directly into your school's connected bank account on a rolling basis.

Onboarding is included free on every plan. Our team migrates your website content, imports your students and families, rebuilds your courses, and configures admissions and billing with you before you launch.

Yes. We migrate schools from spreadsheets, student information systems, learning platforms like Canvas and Thinkific, and existing websites — courses, rosters, products, and pages included. Migration is handled by our team as part of free onboarding.

Payments run on Stripe at Stripe's standard processing rates, plus the plan transaction rate shown in the plan table above; higher plans carry a lower rate. Payouts go straight to your bank account.
