Your recordings, in your course automatically.
DeanDesk Sync watches a folder on your Mac and uploads new files straight to your DeanDesk course as materials. Record a Zoom class locally and it shows up for students on its own.
Version 0.1.0 · Free for DeanDesk schools · Apple Silicon & Intel
Three steps, then it's hands-off
Set up a folder once. Every new file in it becomes a course material.
Sign in to your school
Enter your DeanDesk address and sign in securely in your browser. Only teachers and staff can connect.
Point a folder at a course
Pick one of your teaching courses and choose a folder on your Mac. Decide whether to include files already in it.
New files upload themselves
Drop or save a file in that folder and it's added to your course materials automatically — students get notified.
Built for Zoom recordings
Record your class locally. The moment the recording finishes writing, DeanDesk Sync uploads it to the right course — no manual export, no forgetting.
Set it once, forget it
Map a folder to a course a single time. It keeps watching in the background, even after you restart your Mac.
Secure by design
Sign-in uses OAuth with PKCE — your password never touches the app, and your access token is encrypted in the macOS Keychain.
